Yamame Kurodani

Yamame from Touhou fame.  She's an earth spider (Tsuchigumo if you want the japanese term) and first boss of the 11th game, Subterranean Animism; her power is manipulating diseases (especially infectious ones).  She's a character I've been thinking about recently, partially because of her cameo in Paradise in Old Hell, but I've felt like drawing her recently, so I decided to do so.  Helped take my mind off the rampaging fires in my town.

I hammered this one out in a day, so it had some problems, but for the most part, I'm pretty happy with it.  Her outfit is more or less true to her original design, though I did change her ribbon (partially because it's hard to see what it actually looks like on her original sprite), and the additional legs are something I added as well.  I'll probably change it up a little bit with any future drawings of her, but not too much.

The background is just the first stage of SA run through a filter, and a quickly drawn web as well.
